We believe:
- People want to get noticed, to varying degrees and in different ways in different contexts
- People want to connect to other people
- People sometimes need mechanisms to help them make connections
We noticed that:
- People are sharing a lot of information about themselves online
- People sometimes want to bring their online personas with them into the real world
- These two items are both potential mechanisms to allow people to express themselves and make connections to others
In a nutshell, those beliefs and observations led us to create buzub™ - a tool to help people get noticed and get connected to other people in the real world - and to help bridge the gap between the real world and their online personas.
buzub™ was incubated out of the Boston web design company, Beehive Media, as a side project. It was also a participant in the inaugural session of The Founder Institute, a Silicon Valley startup incubator.
